The archetype of romantic movies.
Surprisingly a solid and fun thriller-horror claustrophobic movie.
One of the most thrilling thrillers I have ever seen. At glimpses seems a horror movie.
A good representation of the source materials who doesn't take too many risks, but risks nevertheless of being trivial and repetitive.
A really solid and fun Italian comedy
I found it an empty, useless and too long movie.
I found it one of the best works of Özpetek. I'm not a big fun of him but the vibe and characters typical of his movies are unique and give a faithful representation of Italy and Italian way of life.
A movie in which you must understand the vibe in order to enjoy it, and if you do it pays off so much.
The movie is fine, but it looses the ability to surprise you way too early. Indeed I found the first half a bit shallow, and the second way two predictable. It's not bad, but I had way higher expectations from the guys that created civil war (which in a way is an amazing thriller).
I would love to see another creating a series more in the key of a modern adaptation of Inspector Callahan with Chadwick Boseman.
I dod not red the comic, but the atmosphere, wit and themes that make unique this story are all there.
Good premise but did not work for me.
When it came out it was amazing. Now looking back It's just a movie that you can't not have seen, thats it.
