I liked it more when I was a kid. Now I see it is a wasted opportunity movie. It starts well, and it would be great if it kept that energy throughout. Middle of the movie is its weakest part. The last third is unconvincing and forced. Raindrops song is fabulous, but totally incongruous with the movie atmosphere, as well as dated 60s style score.
Loved it. Very good humor combined with so many Russian and other intellectual references.
I expected much more from Hitchcock. The movie is theatrical, and has a good plot premise. However, the romance is lame and the way women got involved seems unlikely. The resolution in the last 15 minutes is very contrived.
