The suspense is built in such a perfect way that it doesn't even allow us to take our eyes off the screen. The performance of Jodie Foster and Antony Hopkins is impeccable on an inexplicable level and Hannibal Lecter can easily be considered the most intelligent horror villain in cinema.
Psycho basically created suspense in films the way we know it. Hitchcock knew perfectly well how to make us tense. The filming, the performances, the whole atmosphere of the film and especially the sound track well produced and well applied.
Works great for Disney's first animated film, but the story? The prince kisses Snow White DEAD, in any world is this seen as normal?
Singing in the Rain became the most influent musical movie of the whole world and the most influent one. Even though it is old, it still works very well today.
