The movie can drag you a bit and be confusing at the moments, but this clever, charming rom-com w a great chemistry between the 2 main leads gives you one hell of a ride throughout the movie w a real unique concept, funny gags & amazing performances. It has a great cinematography, smart directing and the ending that leaves up to it's point of viewers.
Not only that it leaves you utterly shocked during the ending scene, it made you question yourself about the current situation you're in and how some images from the screen should never be transformed into real life. A very powerful, sad and terrifying movie that gave me creeps and it's for sure gonna be stucked in my head for a long time. 2020 may not be the perfect year for movies, but for the horror genre, Relic is.
Unfortunately, David Koepp lost his track on this one and made a completely boring and confusing movie with a ridiculous twist and the second act that the final product felt more like a relationship drama than a haunted house mystery. And as a blumhouse sucker i was really looking forward to see it.
Not only is the best horror movie from 2019, it's also one of my favorite movies i ever watched. So shocking, disturbing, suspensful & artistic. Florence Pugh nailed it as a lead role and showed us what the pre depression can look like and how in a weirdly way someone from far way can help you more than your closest one. Absolutely amazing, direction and cinematography are masterpieces. And even if it's not for all tastes you should still consider giving it a watch. Bravo Ari Aster, Bravo!!!!
It'a very disturbing & very graphic and it's gonna keep you at the edge of your seat til the end with unpredictable twists and great acting.
