None of the ideas was good for a short, for sure, this is one of the most awful movie that's i ever saw about foundfootage. Watching this, makes me think that was offered a low budget for some teenegers to film this.

They didn't even tried to make a claustrophobic situation. That would be way better with shots showing the danger and high of the place. Trying to make a copy of Frozen (2010), with almost the same things, but absolutely worse.

"Case 39" have an amazing group of actors, especially Jodelle Ferland (Lillith), she made a little girl looks so dark and in the same time an innocent kid, its absolutely fantastic. In fact, the movie made a lot of weird choises, unfortunately making this movie being another common horror/drama movie.

The movie tries to cause fear using situations that ate impossible, looking so unreal and fake, and used way more than was supposed to. Jump scares appears constantly and with nonsense. There are scenes that are claustrophobic, like when the characters walk through tiny tunnels, that improve the tension.

I am actually suprised how could they made a great horror movie during a zoom meeting, ''Host'' is one of the best movies that used the internet as a tool to build a storie.
