Knew very little about the film, got intrigued by its premise and it was a good experience. An innovative film which makes some important points about Social Media. It showed how some people take social media really seriously and the obsession surrounding it. Joe Keery really elevated the film with his unforgettable performance. The rest of the cast were fine. The film might be a little bit uncomfortable and frustrating to watch at times but was an enjoyable 90 mins. Worth a watch for its unique idea and good execution.
Now this movie was surprisingly good and a lot better than what I expected. The first installment was pretty average but this was very good. The acting was great, it was engaging from start to finish, 94 mins of chilling experience which will keep you at the edge of the seat. Even if you avoid the first one do give this one a watch. Though it could have done better in its treatment of its "dark web" theme, still a solid movie.
The idea and beginning was promising, some moments were genuinely chiilling, but the film fell flat on the acting department. Character development was poor. Still a good attempt in the found footage genre.
Its a fun movie which doesn't take itself too seriously, the whole idea was quirky, actors did a great job. It was a bit cheesy, the special effects couldv'e been better but definitely 90 minutes of pure entertainment and dumb fun.
It was a tight thriller with some genuine scary moments, the signature twist of M Night is used much better here than some of his own films, the acting was decent, writing and character development could've been a bit better. Still worth a watch which will keep you second guessing. Don't know about others but for me it delivered just what it promised.
