I have only watched the first episode, but I am already hooked. This show is pretty dark, but it has great direction and production, and very good acting. The jury is still out on the writing and plotline for me. But I got the same feeling watching this as I did in the first episode of Breaking Bad. Tough compare, I know. But I am looking forward to more.
As with many of Chuck Lorre's shows, B Positive struggles at first to find its footing. There so many characters being introduced in episodes 1 and 2, not enough time is given to really get to know any of them. As of episode 3 things are starting to look more solid, however. The cast of actors, crossing several generations and genre, is unquestionably exceptional. As more time is given to the characters, they are starting to establish themselves and mesh together. Throw in the bold and captivating opening animation, and this series is starting to show great promise. The jury is still out, but this looks like another hit for Chuck and his team.
