A good movie that is understandably seen as one of the greats. Well directed and written with some great performances and scenes. However, my first thought upon completion was that it did not quite live up to my expectations which was a little bit of a let down. A must watch but don't be surprised if you are not blown away. Highly recommended.
A hard-hitting film that leaves you with lot's to think about upon its conclusion. The topics of race, violence and anger are conveyed throughout this well written drama that is combined with stand out performances, especially from Edward Norton. May be too violent for some but sends out an important message. Highly recommend.
An incredibly picturesque movie; a background could be pulled from almost every shot! The story could have been a written a little better but it does more than enough to keep your attention. Superb performances from Ryan Gosling and Anna de Almas as well. Highly recommended.
