My husband and I saw this movie when it came out in theaters. First of all, the movie had great casting and great acting. The plot was okay. The dialogue between Lakeith and Issa fell flat throughout the movie and I found myself bored... The guy sitting in front of me at the theater ...was sleeping. I don't know if Issa Rae wrote this movie. Her show "Insecure" is wildly entertaining and fun to watch but this movie was boring. Great actors but boring movie plot.
