Fatman (2020)
Fun action movie based on the premise that Santa Claus is facing real modern day issues of non-believers, privilege and government over reach. Blood, guts and dark humor are the order of the day in this movie and I for one found it endlessly entertaining to say the least. I feel like the ending fell a little flat for the build up, but what an interesting ride during the build up. Its original, its fresh and its got actual stars in it. Holiday action movies to watch during the season, Die Hard and Fatman.

Jeff, Who Lives at Home (2011)
Heartfelt and genuine "Jeff" feels like a movie made from pain but shows the audience they hope and love are never farther that just a few happenstances away. Three separate storyline converge to an ending that is both memorable and warm. Jason Segel, Susan Sarandon and Ed Helms all shine in their roles without question. When watching this movie think the melancholy moods of "Garden State" but with more dramatic promise for the future

Buddy Games (2019)
An Adam Sandler type movie without the sometimes funny star power of Adam Sandler. Buddy Games is funny at times, and is full equipped with typical raunchy locker room humor which unfortunately misses the mark here and there. The cast just fails flat when trying to pull some of these riske stunts off. Buddy Games is best described at "occasionally funny". Watch it once, when you're drunk, with your pals.....otherwise I'm not sure its worth your while.

Candy (2006)
A haunting love story cursed with addiction and co-dependency. Heath Ledger is the clear stand out star but Geoffrey Rush and Abbie Cornish (as Candy) both turn in powerful performances worthy of remembering. Word to the wise, this film heavy and could lead to a slight depressive state afterword. Let the viewer beware.
