This was ok,but could've been way better. I would've rather seen this as a horror comedy than a wedding movie. We get it,her dad doesn't like you, move on. I would've liked to see them all trapped on an island close to where the boat crashed, but nope,it turned typical. Still had some good laughs though.
This movie holds up and Glenn Close is stunning in it. Everyone in it reminds me of the animated version. It did lose a little flavor in the second act. I think voice acting could've helped. But for being rated "G" it's more intense than watching Cruella. This woman wants her puppy fur.
I thought this was directed well and John David Washington took a bad script and made the movie his. At first I thought he wasn't good but then I could tell he's the simple guy doing anything to survive. He is the only reason to watch this, and even then you still might not enjoy Beckett.
Nicolas Cage.....wow. It was all around my favorite movie of the year and probably the best performance I have seen from him. From beginning to end I was glued, trying to figure out where this journey was going. It could've been a revenge flick, thankfully it was way more.
For being real cheap it had alot going for it. I liked it better than hellfest but not as good as haunt. Bloodfest did a poor job of utilizing what it had, alot of that could've been caused by the budget. The cameo was kind of disappointing and the ending didn't make sense.
I have seen Jeremy Gardner in three films now. I have liked him in all three, but this is the only movie I liked out of the three. A RomCom with a crazy monster,it has originality. I just felt it lost steam the further it went.
