Movie Info

On the surface, One Last Dance is a scintillating Singaporean crime film, but pay attention. What's bubbling beneath is a puzzle whose pieces consist of images and dialogue that, when put together, lift the viewing experience from the enjoyable to the sublime. A soulful lead performance by Francis Ng as a disillusioned hit man is the main reason to see One Last Dance.

It's not that the entire piece is written so terribly; it's just that the film is thrown together in the most undesirable fashion.

Audience Reviews for One Last Dance

Old-fashioned suspense movie, but told with a certain flair. The main performances are pretty good, and Harvey Keitel channels his best Marlon Brando. Kept me engaged throughout, even if the writing is a little flawed.

One Last Dance initially seemed like a crime/gangster film but it is actually a love story underneath. It was presented to audiences like pieces of a puzzle - a bit like a cross between Kill Bill, Memento and Pulp Friction, but with its own originality. It was entirely shot in Singapore and believe I Singapore had never looked better!
