On the surface, One Last Dance is a scintillating Singaporean crime film, but pay attention. A soulful lead performance by Francis Ng as a disillusioned hit man is the main reason to see One Last Dance.
It's not that the entire piece is written so terribly; it's just that the film is thrown together in the most undesirable fashion.
Old-fashioned suspense movie, but told with a certain flair. The main performances are pretty good, and Harvey Keitel channels his best Marlon Brando. Kept me engaged throughout, even if the writing is a little flawed.
