Maggie Furness (Eliza Roberts), an aggressive investigator, deems Katie's death a murder and targets the suspicious Adam as her prime suspect. Smoke forms a partnership with Maggie to prove her wrong but ends up becoming a suspect in the case. As the story unfolds Smoke and Adam find themselves framed in a web of murder, lies, prostitution and cover-up.
