Sergeant Henry "Smoke" Smolenksy (Roberts), devastated by the sudden loss of his beloved ex-wife, Katie, must adjust his life to having sole custody of his estranged and troubled son, Adam (Tierney). Maggie Furness (Eliza Roberts), an aggressive investigator, deems Katie's death a murder and targets the suspicious Adam as her prime suspect. Smoke forms a partnership with Maggie to prove her wrong but ends up becoming a suspect in the case. As the story unfolds Smoke and Adam find themselves framed in a web of murder, lies, prostitution and cover-up. The gritty streets become a refuge while they all join forces to find the killer while exposing corruption within the police force and the seedy underworld of organized crime. [More]
