A pleasantly surprising near miss.
This watchable neo-noir tale is all style and not much on substance.
One of the best straight to video films by the director of America's Deadliest Home Videos! Very enjoyable, surprising and atmospheric.

A good film, albeit somewhat morbid. Walter (played by Eric Roberts) is a never-do-well drunk who likes to think of himself as a writer, living in what looks like an American idea of a Mexican village.
