The film tells the story of Hester (Rabe), a shy, disabled young woman who brings Katharine (Otto) home to her father's farm one day. As the pair's relationship unfolds in strange and undefined ways, Hester's father dies, leaving her the estate. Immediately, she sells it, planning to run away with Katharine and spend the money freely. An accident spoils that plan, and pretty soon the pair's relationship becomes strained to the point of snapping. [More]

The Well wins points for its creative use of filters and silence... but those looking for a real creepshow will probably be left wanting.
