This is definitely a film where style triumphs over substance.
[S]mart, nicely acted, and it looks great, far sharper and more stylish than its reported $1 million budget would lead you to believe it could be...
Even without terrorists, it seems, we may be our own worst enemies. Waterborne makes that point with a compelling, highly watchable story.
The action is kept up-close and personal, focusing on individuals instead of mass hysteria. This sense of immediacy brings the audience closer to the story.
It's like a realistically creepy episode of The Twilight Zone as written by a particularly colorful sociologist.
I really like Christopher Kennedy Masterson, but this is not one of his better films. It's very dark and depressing, painfully unrealistic, and really, for most of the movie, it's just a bunch of people screaming at each other. Not much action, not many redeeming qualities. I didn't care for this.
