Pete McCormack's script only occasionally yields to melodrama. Mostly it allows the characters to breathe freely, expressing a greater range of human emotion than just love and sympathy.

This film was inspired by a true story. An amazing story at that because after Pete went to the jungle he miraculously became cancer-free. I guess being in nature, so pure and free, was a truly magical and healing experience. I thought this movie was inspiring and heartfelt and Marc Donato did a good job playing his
