After slipping through a mirror, Alice (Mia Wasikowska) finds herself back in Underland with the White Queen (Anne Hathaway), the Cheshire Cat, the White Rabbit, Tweedledee and Tweedledum. Her friends tell her that the Mad Hatter (Johnny Depp) is in a funk over the loss of his family. Hoping to save his loved ones, Alice steals the Chronosphere from Time (Sacha Baron Cohen) to travel into the past. While there, she encounters the younger Hatter and the evil Red Queen (Helena Bonham Carter).

Time for the sequel! Even if Tim Burton didn't direct this movie and the sequel is lesser than the first one. I though it was still enjoyable. Sascha Baron Cohen as Time was a fun edition. He did a good job. I'm not gonna lie the time jokes at the Tea time table was hilarious, I loved that part. I love bad dad jokes 😂 Alice Through the Looking Glass was a fun and entertaining movie, wich expanded the Wonderland world!

I personally love this movie, especially how visually stunning it is. The story is built well also, when I just want to watch something comforting and visually interesting I’d turn to this movie any day.

I love the first Alice in Wonderland by Tim Burton and I use to like this sequel too. I might’ve given it a positive review back when it came out, but after watching it again more recently, my opinion has drastically changed. There are good ideas every once in a while, but they’re jumbled in a complete mess. The scene where Alice steps through the mirror and falls from the sky into Wonderland (or Underland) was very cool. I also like the tea party scene and mental institution bit. The flashback showing how the Red Queen got her gigantic head was well done too, but everything else is meh. The whole time travelling plot is just too ridiculous, even for an Alice movie. I really wish that Burton came back to direct it, but even so, I'm not sure he could make up for the poorly conceived script.
