Kaufman has created a very smart movie, and I ended up liking it for what it was. It is not a heartwarming romp. It is a dense, sneaky movie about narcissism, cruelty, and Lisa's own shy resilience.

Filme fraco, o roteiro é fraco, as cenas são fracas, a história é fraca, o elenco é fraco, e ninguém ajuda a melhorar o filme, os personagens são fracos, e o filme deveria ter cenas bem melhores e relevantes, para fazer o filme ser bom

I think that this is the best film that Charlie Kaufman ever directed, and one of his best works overall. Kaufman is really great at writing deep and nuanced characters, but he's not so great at making really big and over the top things. So Anomalisa is perfect in it's wonderful simplicity, a heartbreaking look at this one magical moment in this man's life. And the use of animation in this film was great to make both the vision come to life, and how it's greatly incorporated into the plot. But this film succeeds largely in its deeply human subtlety, which let's the beautiful characters shine through.
