Directors Michael and Peter Spierig resurrect Rafael Sabatini's Captain Blood character with this remake of the 1935 Errol Flynn swashbuckler recounting a former enslaved doctor's second life as a seafaring pirate. I also loved the book, and was pleased to hear that they were re-making it. But the fact that it's set it space completely ruins it. Way to go Hollywood. They sure know how to butcher a good story.

I hear it is set in space. I love the book and the original but if this is set in space, it's almost a guaranteed failure.
