Two years after serial killer Charles Lee Ray (Brad Dourif) inserted his soul into a Chucky doll, a toy company attempts to re-create the doll, bringing Ray back in the process. The possessed doll, intent on claiming a human body, kills his way toward former owner Andy (Alex Vincent), who now lives in a foster home. Andy's foster sister, Kyle (Christine Elise), tries to protect him, but his foster parents believe Andy is just a troubled kid -- and Chucky's murderous path continues.

Child's Play 2 is the best film in the Chucky franchise. Even better than the first with great writing. Great plot and a sister brother bond between Kyle and Andy, and that can be seen as emotional to some people. And the chucky doll is amazing, as always with it. An amazing puppetry and oscar nominee worthy

Child’s Play 2 probably comes in as the strongest entry into the franchise. It’s the time we really see his malevolent personality come to life, we have a great chase sequence, great characters and an inventive finale. Chucky has also never looked so good and probably has not since! Highly recommend this entry in the franchise. Lack of murders or inventive kills is probably what lets this movie down overall, dialogue can seem a little bizarre too.
