Together, with her high school sweetheart Stan (Randall Batinkoff), who is hoping for a scholarship to Cal Tech, they make the perfect senior couple destined for big things. They're on top of the world, in love, and preparing for an idyllic future. Of course, that's before Darcy realizes she's pregnant. Despite the disapproval of their families, Darcy and Stan decide to keep the baby and get married, starting their adulthood a little sooner than they planned. They struggle to finish school while working odd jobs and redecorating their less than comfortable rundown apartment. Of course they have no idea how hard it will be to make it on their own and soon enough the honeymoon is over--diapers are in and late night dates are out. Things just get harder for the young couple--they're forced to put their college dreams on hold and even move into Darcy's mother's house. The pressures of being new parents almost splits the young couple up until they realize how much they really do love one another. Together, they decide to buck the odds and enter college as a new family.
