In the year 1817 he meets young Mary Shelley, an aspiring author, and Dr. Victor Frankenstein, whose own experiment has gone haywire. Seeking to stop his Monster's reign of terror, Frankenstein sees the visitor's vast scientific knowledge as a way to further his own monstrous endeavors. Based on the fascinating novel by Brian Aldiss, FRANKENSTEIN UNBOUND marks Roger Corman's return to directing after an absence of twenty years. [More]

Reviews for Frankenstein Unbound
Has its problems, but what a cast! Kudos to film critic F.X. Feeney for scripting a Corman flick.
Sometimes even bad Corman can at least be fun Corman. This is not one of those times.
Good performances can't save it. Palm trees in Switzerland are a nice touch, though
