Ford Brody (Aaron Taylor-Johnson), a Navy bomb expert, has just reunited with his family in San Francisco when he is forced to go to Japan to help his estranged father, Joe (Bryan Cranston). Soon, both men are swept up in an escalating crisis when Godzilla, King of the Monsters, arises from the sea to combat malevolent adversaries that threaten the survival of humanity. The creatures leave colossal destruction in their wake, as they make their way toward their final battleground: San Francisco.

For me personally Godzilla 2014 is an amazing movie. The action is great and the acting. It could have been better and yeah I think Godzilla needed more screentime. Though I love the military scenes and everything. The mutos are also interesting and very cool monsters. Ford is an amazing character and Aaron Taylor Johnson was fitting for him. Same with Elizabeth Olsen for Elle. I wish we saw these characters again. Such a good, fun movie. I hope they rerelease it one day. Especially in 4dx. I get this might not be everyone's cup of tea but it's still worth a watch. It's what got me into Godzilla and my first Godzilla movie as a kid. I always rewatch it every now and then.
