After failing to kill stubborn survivor Laurie (Jamie Lee Curtis) and taking a bullet or six from former psychiatrist Dr. Sam Loomis (Donald Pleasence), Michael Myers (Jonathan Prince) has followed Laurie to the Haddonfield Memorial Hospital, where she's been admitted for Myers' attempt on her life. The institution proves to be particularly suited to serial killers, however, as Myers cuts, stabs and slashes his way through hospital staff to reach his favorite victim.

Figuring out why Michael suddenly decided to lay waste to random Haddonfield residents when Laurie was his target makes no sense to me in this one. You really feel the transition into “Curse of the Witch” in this film. First one is still better in my opinion. The only thing that was done better were the kills. Pretty entertaining.

Halloween II is definitely better Halloween sequel than Halloween III, 6, Resurrection, Kills, and Ends but unfortunately it’s not near perfect as the original Halloween film that we all know and love, I just wish this sequel was on the same level as the first film, I do like the kills in the film, but I wish it was more creative, more original, and less cringey, and they needed to make Michael Myers more scarier like the first film, I am glad that Jamie Lee Curtis and Donald Pleasence returned for the second film, which I enjoyed both of them in the first film and the second film, overall Halloween II is a good sequel to the first movie, just not a good as the original classic, I would recommend it for Halloween fans who truly love the original so much and watch it during the Halloween season, I give it 3/5 stars

Way better than the first one but still had some issues. The passing wasn’t always the best and for me the kills kinda took me out of it. There is no way a scalpel can kill someone the way they did it more then once in this movie and also in the last fight there is no way in hell that he is missing those swipe but anyway. Other than that it was good.

I think this is a great sequel to the first film. great characters, setting, and i love how this takes place immediantly after the first. Though soemthings i don´t like still a pretty good halloween spook ya mama season movie. recommend a watch.
