Movie Info

Could it be true? Is the U.S. government really hiding an alien spaceship in the mysterious Hangar 18? According to the producers at Sunn Classic Pictures, the answer is yes, and this sci-fi drama sets out to prove it. The trouble begins when an orbiting satellite runs into the UFO and it crashes. Inside are alien bodies, and the President, who is busy with his re-election campaign, is most eager to conceal them.more

Audience Reviews for Hangar 18

An early attempt to cash in on the UFO conspiracy genre. By today's standard it's rather horrible but maybe a little decent for it's time.

Early attempt at X-Files material, is bogged down by pedestrian treatment.

Super Reviewer

Views like a TV movie, with similar production values. This movie had the opportunity to vigorously explore some wide ranging topics like alien technology and physiology as well as our cultural readiness to encounter alien beings. Instead we get "we have met the alien, and he is us" and anti-US government propaganda. Not my cup of tea.
