A movie that could teach a cup of strong coffee how to yawn.

The Hunt steals all of its ideas from other stories, then reworks them into something that's tedious and uninteresting.

Audience Reviews for The Hunt

Not bad, not great. Managed to keep my attention until the very end, despite a lack of action or story for most of it.

A somewhat promising found-footage premise turns into a total yawn-fest as The Hunt devolves into an overly chatty piece of horror crap. The Hunt follows two men and one of their stepsons as they attempt to film a bow-hunting video to sell through Wal-Mart chains--how appropriate! A pseudo-found-footage film akin to The Fourth Kind mixes POV camerawork together with more traditional filmmaking--it sort of explains the mixed aesthetic at the end. As the trio encounter bizarre phenomena, we mainly just want them to die because that would at least be something interesting. The film has a few creepy moments, but overall it suffers from a terrible script with nowhere near enough action or horror.

This was better then expected. I suggest seeing it.

Man, I feel obligated to make a real review because of the lack of reviews for this movie. Damn it.

So, right. They go hunting or whatever and then they're like, "fence, what?" and then they go under it because that's where the deer went but then they find scary stuff and can't get out.

It has regular movie footage, but also has a fair share of video that is taken from the characters, as they are filming a hunting video. Also, it cuts to the future once and a while, to the investigation. And... stuff.

It's good. The character cam wasn't overly shaky or anything. I think I just invented the term character cam, so please credit me when you use it in the future.
