Noah L @PilgorOfSanAngora 1d JP3 in general I'd consider a bad movie. The last two movies explored interesting themes of man trying to play god, this time it was a basic rescue mission story (and the dinosaur were basically just there for the action). This is the Jurassic movie where I honestly just wanted people to die because they were just SO ANNOYING (specifically the Kirby family) and were just there...for no reason, I guess they just needed new actors. Even though I in general like Alan Grant, for this movie he just seems to be there for the ride. The movies pacing is also bad, it's just WAY TO fast which makes it hard for an real story to be told or character development. However despite this big criticism's, JP3 isn't the worst. It does have some very fun and memorable action scenes (like the Spinosaurus airplane attack or aviary scene), and I also like that instead of having the same villain (T-Rex), they had something cool & new (Spinosaurus) and if you need something mindless on JP3 is a good option. Supporting characters are largely forgettable, and the dialogue often borders on clunky. That said, it's not without merit. For fans who simply want dinosaurs, chaos, and a fast-paced survival story, it delivers. But for those seeking the world-building and moral complexity of its predecessors, it falls disappointingly short.
