Living large and loving life, Po realizes that he has a lot to learn if he's going to fulfill the next challenge from his beloved instructor. The biggest problem with “Kung Fu Panda 3” is tone: while the first two films WERE funny, the third film TRIES to be funny with too much hyperactivity and “gags” everywhere, saturating the viewers instead of making them laugh. Full review in Spanish.

While this is the weakest of the now four feature films, it does give Po his father and show his two fathers negotiating team parenting. Po must find his chi and fight jade zombies with the help of his biological father's panda village.

Just like BVS this movie was fine to me it kinda represented po and his family which is relatable but the moment that shifu tells us the story of Kai is awful and Kai is like the best villain ever so without a doubt this movie is a bit of a mess cause the characters were introduced in kind of an awkward way and po is a little annoying here so what should I expect if this couldn’t be a great stand alone movie. C+

Finding chi, losing bite Kung Fu Panda 3 looks and sounds great, with sharper animation, strong voice work, and action that stays creative, especially once the pandas join the fight. Kai adds a fresh spiritual angle through chi, which fits the series. The problem is balance: the film leans harder into jokes, and that extra comic relief softens moments that should hit emotionally, especially after what the second film built. Kai also feels less sharply written than Tai Lung or Shen, with more generic villain lines and thinner motivation. Still, it is fun, stylish, and easy to like, just not as strong as its predecessors.
