La vendetta privata è emotivamente potente nella fase iniziale, salvo poi essere totalmente dimenticata con il passare dei minuti; diventando di fatto un contorno poco importante per invece un solito film di azione con un villain tanto spietato quanto poco lucido. Alla fine dei conti, il film probabilmente denota una carenza di idee che lascia in dote lo stop più lungo tra un film e l'altro per l'intera saga. As much as Dalton is decent, he simply doesn't have the panache or suave that a Bond needs. Still a pretty good movie but he was hard to believe as Bond- it just is what it is. Additionally, the PG-13 rating is pushed to the absolute limit here. Too bad we didn't get more of Dalton as Bond as he always seemed to offer something interesting.
