On her first day in the Eternal City, Lizzie meets Paolo (Yani Gellman), half of a famous Italian pop duo. Paolo and his partner, Isabella, have recently split up due to creative differences. With the exception of her blonde tresses, all-American Lizzie is a dead ringer for the dark-haired Isabella, and charming Paolo persuades her to pretend she's Isabella at an important awards show. Posing as the diva, Lizzie is waited on hand and foot and admired by millions--and she gets to hang out with a cute Italian boy who seems to like her. Of course, sneaking away from her school tour is no easy feat, especially with group leader Miss Ungermeyer (Alex Borstein) on watch. But with the help of her lifelong pal, Gordo (Adam Lamberg), who also harbors a secret crush on his best friend, Lizzie gets to live out her fantasies. Robert Carradine, Hallie Todd, Ashlie Brillault, and Clayton Snyder reprise their roles from the Disney television series of the same name in this feature from director Jim Fall (TRICK). [More]

Reviews for The Lizzie McGuire Movie
...the end result is an effort that'll surely have a much more positive effect on fans than on neophytes to the Lizzie McGuire saga.
No one will claim that the pre-teen market is saturated with movies for girls, thus The Lizzie McGuire Movie is a welcome addition that fills the bill...
A fantasy that teaches girls that popularity and material possessions are the most important things in life and will fall right into your lap if you're adorable enough.
As driving-around-in-the-car-with-the-top-down, putting-on-your-lip-gloss, loving-life moviemaking, it’s all good.
Lizzie may be cheesy and disappointingly straight-laced but all in all she's a bit of fun.
Passable entertainment for the young teen set that’s far from memorable, but at least offers a few sparks of life.
Its tone is identical to the travelogue movies of the week that NBC used to spin from their hit sitcoms
Quick to capitalize on one of its assets, now that the 65-episode cap of Lizzie McGuire has been fulfilled, Disney has turned around and popped out a pay-per-view version.
