Gangster chief Jack Rushton asks assassin John Hardin to murder Rena so she won't give police a computer disc that's packed with incriminating information about his crime operation. Although Hardin likes his female companion (who also happens to be Jack's ex), he is perfectly willing to follow the orders. However, the scheming Rena comes up with an ingenious plan to fool Rushton: she convinces John to kill her twin sister, Kathy, instead.
