S P @S1337 3d A masterpiece, the plot is just great, the futuristic tech contrasting with the gritty conditions we encounter is very credible and adds to the feeling of immersion throughout the movie. The character developement is deep, the debates it can give rise to are endless. It really checks all the boxes of an amazing film. You're on your seat the whole time thrown around by the plot and enjoying every second of it. The action sequences are awesome, especially the visuals and the shots look so stunning. Tom Cruise, Colin Ferrell, Steve Harris have great performances in the film. Tom Cruise does a great job creating realistic reactions within his story and dilemma. Although I enjoyed this movie, I cant turn a blind eye to its cliche moments and lame attempts at comedy within the action scenes. The son kidnapping scene was so glossed over and far fetched that I felt as if I was wasting my time. Especially since the kidnapping was so vital to his back story. The machine that carves the name of the murderer into a wooden ball, then varnishes it and sends it down a convoluted tube. There's lots of instances of this in modern scifi movies. Is it because movie directors have no real knowledge of the real world? See more crystal z @crystalzl Dec 16 Minority report is a sci-fi movie that is directed by Steve Spielberg. Tom Cruise playing the protagonist John Anderson I thought the movie was teeth clinching intense and very interesting. It genuinely has you thinking whether people really control their own choice or is it just supposed to happen. The movie uses three siblings that can see the future of what crimes will happen. It's based on John who is a police officer. John really believed in a system that he thought would save people's lives until one day he was accused of a crime that he was going to commit. John didn't know what to think he just wanted to prove his innocence he starts to question whether the future is already decided or can the outcome change John grow from the situation. at first, he trusted the system without doubting it but at the end he learns to not rely on technology this movie is a 10 out of 10 and I would definitely recommend! This thrilling sci-fi action is accompanied by compelling characters, strong writing, and an engaging story that keeps the viewers on their toes. All in all, this is one of Spielbergs best films.
