Spaghetti-Western star Terence Hill achieved international fame with 1974's My Name Is Nobody. A soldier of fortune, Nobody (Hill) is hired to gun down veteran outlaw Jack Beauregard (Henry Fonda). Before long, however, Nobody and Beauregard are bosom companions. When Beauregard announces his retirement, Nobody insists that the old man go out in one last, glorious shooting spree and tries to arrange for this to happen. The film was cut down to 117 minutes for the American release. ~ Hal

La.rgely successful with some gaping flaws, and deeply experimental in a way that verges on upsetting
Part spoof, part farewell to the frontier myth, it's kind of a slapstick version of The Gunfighter.
A good premise, but there's hardly much to see or follow. No story or interesting characters, just a series of sketches to showcase Hill's charisma. Lots of faceless enemies for him and Fonda to take down. If you only want to pay tribute to something sometimes the best approach is to say nothing at all.

An enjoyable light hearted western that shows how foley artists really used to love their jobs in the 70's.
