The heart of On Broadway is in the right place. But when the story behind a film is more interesting than what's on the screen, that's a problem.
offers some truly sweet parts that feel like a return to the indies of the early '90s, when regional cinema still felt fresh and full of purpose.
On Broadway is a warm and affectionate film with a big heart. The bright sparks were Eliza Dushku, Will Arnett, Amy Poehler, and Lucas Caleb Rooney.

Excellent story, with great direction and a fantastic cast. I believe the writer/director had also co-written Southie back in the 90's which was a well done indie.
