Boll doesn't manage to capture much of what made the first film so unexpectedly enjoyable. It comes off as forced, even with a couple well designed and executed sequences. Go to Full Review

Jagdpanzer T @RT44446946 Aug 19 The thing that makes the first movie work (sort of) is that Bill is basically just an misanthrope pushed to the edge by societal BS and disrespect. He views the system as a bad value proposition for regular people, and when he goes out and murders other regular people it only makes sense to the extent that those are the people around him at the time. He also steals a lot of money... In the second movie Bill is much more politically vocal, and virtually every statement he makes directly aligns with contemporary Marxism, including how he alludes to the idea that he's for democracy by complaining that it's not what we have due to the predations of the wealthy. He also gets into anti-Wyte identity politics a little. Needless to say, this makes Bill - an unsympathetic character to begin with - even less sympathetic here. He just seems like some jumped-up Antifa bully obsessed with his social media following. He constantly whines about the rich and then kills innocent people who aren't rich. See more Heisenberg u @RT49756578 11/10/2024 The director; he is a sexy. Let me count the ways he has a chiseled physique, he’s really smart and he’s really cool he’s easy to talk to he loves his fans and he loves a pussy! He puts lots of action and explosions with a message and political spectrum unlike say Christopher flaccis penis McQuarrie See more Dave C @RT09838700 08/14/2023 The rhetoric is ramped up a lot in this sequel, with more weight given to the protagonist's ideology. It doesn't really add much to the film. The action is expected (on the back of how the first instalment played out), so has a predictability to it. There are some plot holes that aren't given much attention, and so come across as weak points in the writing, and feel like the team behind the cameras don't really have their hearts in it See more 07/10/2020 More Uwe Propaganda Garbage See more 07/27/2019 Just as good as the first one. See more 01/19/2019 This is one of the absolute worst movies I've ever seen. They took what could've been an interesting plot and quickly turned it into a boring, unrealistic, horrendously planned film. As much as I hoped this would become more interesting, nothing about this film was good. From the acting to the screenplay, this was highly disappointing. What a shame... See more Read all reviews
