In 2003, Harvard undergrad and computer genius Mark Zuckerberg (Jesse Eisenberg) begins work on a new concept that eventually turns into the global social network known as Facebook. Six years later, he is one of the youngest billionaires ever, but Zuckerberg finds that his unprecedented success leads to both personal and legal complications when he ends up on the receiving end of two lawsuits, one involving his former friend (Andrew Garfield). "Perfection itself is imperfection." — Vladimir Horowitz These are words spoken before this film was released, which is why it carries so much truth, but if spoken today, they would mean nothing. This film carries a blend of intensity and conclusion that only a master could construct. A film fueled by conversation but somehow never gets boring. The contrast between beginning and end leaves the viewer with nothing but the feeling of completion, so I dare say this movie is perfection.
