andrea C @Charst Jun 15 Il solito Shyamalan con un altro thriller horror disturbante, che flirta con la linea di separazione tra i due generi, costruendo una serie molto ben eseguita di sequenze ben riuscite che rendono il film solido ed interessante. Naturalmente, in questo tipo di film, se ci si ferma troppo ad analizzare la trama, ci si accorge di una serie di forzature che sono praticamente necessarie per creare le condizioni ottimali per lo svolgimento del film. Detto questo, non è comunque semplice creare un film credibile ed entusiasmante; tra l'altro con attori per lo più sconosciuti o quasi. Il finale probabilmente è leggermente più debole del resto della pellicola; la discesa nell'assurdo dei comportamenti raggiunge in fretta picchi molto esagerati; anche questi utili a far uscire pressochè indenni i protagonisti. The scares were almost comically bad in some parts, and the whole time you'll think "that wouldn't happen, they wouldn't do that, no one would respond that way" etc. If this had been by a fresh writer director on a first project, this would be OK. This film has a unique storyline, loveable archetypes, genuinely scary scenes, and comedic relief that may be campy at times but comes naturally with the characters.
