Every time I watch the film it has a new piece or element that makes me fall in love with it even more. It is truly one of the greatest romances seen on film, largely thanks to the performers.

This is a pretty good movie. It came out before I was born, and I watched it on VHS as a child. I don’t remember it being nearly as good as it was. One thing that sticks out is the use of CGI. It’s not that it was better than today. It’s just that they were not overconfident, but appropriately confident in it. They weren’t so overconfident that they zoomed in on stuff that clearly looked bad. They knew it wasn’t great so they used it for very wide very wide shots. And in the shots you can hardly tell if you’re just watching a movie. Great work.

One of the greatest films by a legendary filmmaker. This fantastic picture never gets old and too many amazing humans who performed so well in this one are no longer with us. Love everything about this one!

Loved seeing this again on the big screen and glorious Dolby Atmos mix. The pacing is a bit slow. It could be about 30 minutes shorter and the ending is a bit of downer. The tragedy within a tragedy is a bit overpowering. But Leo and Kate look terrific. The rest of the cast holds up well. Stunning visuals and special effects, especially the iceberg and ship break-up scene. None better, even after 27 years.
