With their beloved Andy preparing to leave for college, Woody (Tom Hanks), Buzz Lightyear (Tim Allen), Jessie (Joan Cusack), and the rest of the toys find themselves headed for the attic but mistakenly wind up on the curb with the trash. Woody's quick thinking saves the gang, but all but Woody end up being donated to a day-care center. "Toy Story 3" is the kind of movie that people who love the characters will enjoy, but if you enjoyed the first two movies for how they resonate with you emotionally, this movie will largely feel like an entertaining, well executed waste of time.

While Toy Story gets a lot of things right, like having a great emotional core, a great beginning and ending, and does an incredible job picking up from the sequel in a sensible way due to the 11 year gap, it suffers from how dark this movie is during the middle most part of the movie. The Visuals of the movie are stunning, the audio and soundtrack are great, but this movie is SUPER dark for a kids movie and even a little on the darker side for adults. With Toy Story and Toy Story 2 being lighthearted as they should be as a kids movie, I was not expecting it to be this dark, but overall, it is still a pretty good movie.

Toy Story 3 is a must watch I loved this movie with my whole heart. This movie helped teach me that love and laughter are my two favorite things and being with the people you love is all that matters. It’s a beautiful continuation of the series showing growth and change with Andy going to college and woody dealing with him growing up. I love this movie because growing up is scary and this just made me feel normal.
