After an epic battle, a great city lies in ruins, but the Earth itself is saved. As humanity begins to pick up the pieces, a shadowy group emerges to try to take control of history. The fourth Transformers installment plays majorly bloated, culturally & ethically problematic, painfully predictable and riddled with outrageous plot armour. If not saved by the lengthy, fiery action scene at the end that this franchise is known for, the rest is just not worth watching.

I like it because I think the conflict is interesting, especially humans who finally try to 're-create' transformers because it's quite logical, yes, I think when lockdown/quintessa suddenly looking for optimus strange because it was so sudden. But outside of lockdown, everything is still good in my opinion, that's why I'm confused why many people don't like it. And apparently people don't like it if the movie presents a lot of conflicts at once.. because I like a lot of conflicts as long as they are connected..

Okay, even though this movie was very unnecessary, but let me be honest. This movie is not bad, but it have issues. First, the movie was so long, second, a transformium thing that makes into a pixel floating blocks thing to make the transformers copies to turn them into robots is lazy and pointless, and third, a 20 year old character dating a 17 year old minor is really not a good thing. There's some good stuff like, humans making their own Transformers is good, the villain was cold, and the final act was good only a little bit. 5 out of 10. It's not bad, but it's not great.

Genuinely an embarrassment to the transformers franchise. Sloppy storyline, inconsistent details, editing errors, never feels like there are real stakes. The villains aren’t threatening. Too many sub plots. Just flat out bad. Currently, I cannot think of a worse movie I’ve seen.

The only way I can describe this film is 'Completely American'. The characters are very surface level, at least the human ones. The director has shoved every possible action plot point he could think of and made it into this film.
