If it had lived up to its golden first five minutes, Up would have been the film of the decade. As it is, it remains the best animated flick of 2009, a funny, moving, beautifully made argument that dreamers can move mountains. Go to Full Review

... a film of whimsy and wonder, mixing Jules Verne imagination with the bubble-gum colors of a children’s picture book and Pixar’s trademark bouncy humor, all stirred with memories of childhood dreams. Go to Full Review

Jace E @thefilmguy 3h The "married life" montage is so legendary, that people forget that the rest of the film... drags a bit. I'm sorry! I know that might be a hot take, but I find myself to be pretty bored during most of this film. The characters are fun, the score is phenomenal and the moment when Carl decides to move forward rather than dwell on the past is fantastic. I just don't care for the Charles Muntz moments and 2/3 of the film. Still, 4 stars for the breath-taking moments between Carl and Ellie.
