Movie Info

As can be gathered by the title, Video Violence...When Renting is Not Enough is not so much an exploitation flick as a spoof of that genre. A video-store owner (Art Neill) finds that his customers aren't satisfied with the R-rated violent offerings in his store. But somehow, they've managed to find gratification elsewhere. Playing detective, the owner learns that several of his customers have begun filming their own splatter flicks...or should we say "snuff films"? Amusing in a sick sort of way, Video Violence apparently struck the right chord with its target audience, else why would we have been treated to Video Violence, Part 2...The Exploitation!more

Audience Reviews for Video Violence

Great effort, funny to see cliche characters acted out by very amateur actors. Nice and sorta twisted, sorta drawn out but it's nothing to complain about

Amazing vibes put out in this film. Brings the viewer back to the golden days of Ma'N'Pa video stores renting out the most violent shit ever. This film a small town is making snuff films and the newest proprietor of the video store is next. It is more disturbing than you would think! A lot of ruthless killing and sexual violence. AKA BLOOD on BOOBS. I could see the morality squad calling this in for being a rape trigger...
Anyway, other than that, this movie is shot on video but looks amazing considering how cheap it is. No lesser quality than a television broadcast. The video quality is only appropriate considering it is about a video store and a video snuff ring.
