nammaw 04/20/2023 I think it needed more action and no so boring but on the other hand there were people sitting behind us talking through the move the whole time. I couldn't hear the movie too well. See more Scott B @RT82817288 2d Professional critics often don't take genre into account and judge every film against art-house standards, even a popcorn movie based on a video game. This film has a solid plot. I know next to nothing put the Warcrsft universe yet it made sense. There was some genuine drama and depth to the characters, most surprisingly, in the orcs too. The artwork and effects were clearly a labor of love. They wanted this movie to look good. Of course, what you expect out of a film heavily influences your impression. If you expect a 5 star movie and get anything less.You're disappointed and you want to rate it much lower. If you expect a film to be terrible and it ends up being entertaining you tend to rate it higher. The latter probably part of what happened with this movie for me. It's sword and sorcery stuff done well with some genuine emotions. If you like that stuff , you'll be entertained. If you condescend to that genre, don't bother. See more Joel V @RT42315099 Apr 29 Ok wow, I’m going to compare from movie to the game based on story and action. This movie’s story is NOTHING LIKE THE GAME. The story was rushed, was trying to stick with OG Warcraft and it wasn’t stick to the glory of how good the story were in Warcraft or WOW And there was no character i recognized from the games except 3, that are from the game. The action is to a world of warcraft level, closest I can base this is the WOW Cinematics. And it’s okey but the cinematics do it way better, some of the fight had a lot of potential too. Now the story omg not terrible but not good. They should have done either did the Lich kings story, or ILLidans story or ghadgar story, would have fitted better. The humans vs orcs story yah it started it back then but there not a lot of story to run with, a lot of missing characters, like trolls, that was in the og games, like I’m only seeing 25% of the races from each side. But also nothing much to build on. Ok but fans of the game would make it better See more Sonic G @HansuGama Apr 20 It's a decent film, it was made in a very good year 2016 and it had very sexy vibes and it wasn't boring but it also was sorta a Lord Of The Rings wannabe, also it didn't really have the best ending and the CGI looked more like a video game, a good one but still which just shows that they could have made better looking video games back in the day, in 2001 they had that good high quality modern looking cgi for Shrek but instead they gave us shitty slop that is shaped like an 8 year old drawing, but TBH if you are a guy who likes the idea of movies and just looking for entertainment and don't give a F*ck about the plot then this film is for you. Overall, it is GOAT (greatest of all time) fr, I'm looking forward for it's season 2 or any update of this. Those who are familiar with the Warcraft universe will recognize the themes, characters, stories, and intricacies of the Warcraft universe in this movie. It is a little long.
