An anemic grab-bag of Sundance cliches.
You won't want to get to know these obnoxious characters.
Director Patrick Sisam merely cherry picks his favorite moments of dysfunction and eccentricity, failing to provide any sort of reasonable argument for Christopher's zombified mental state.
I thought this was a very convincing story. Patrick Sisam did a wonderful job a with bringing out the child's perspective to the family life. The child's different memories to what happens in the family and what that perspective does to the adult child's choices in life. I'm not saying it's a perfect film but it is
