Audience Reviews for Brooklyn Nine-Nine: Season 1

Not a bad comedy series. I am surprised it won Best Comedy at the Golden Globes 2014, though. Andy Samberg is hilarious here. He plays the main character, Jack Peralta who works at a fake police station, Brooklyn 99. The series look at the lives of the Brooklyn 99 detectives; such as Andre Braugher who plays Jack's new boss. He is openly gay but tough as hell. Then there is Melissa Fumero who plays the knows-it-all cop, Amy Santiago. Amy looks up to Captain Holt and this ensues a hilarious situation, where we see Amy in many scenes trying her best to impressed the Captain, but of course, that is never the case. The other funny characters I like are Rosa Diaz played by Stephanie Beatriz; a tough detective who doesn't like to smile, and Terry Jeffords played by Terry Crews, a tall, build detective who suffer from past trauma shooting incident. The series is witty and very well-written. I have seen each one of its episode since it started and none of them has ever let me down. I am looking forward to the rest of first season and hopefully if they can keep it up, we may see the second season.

78/100.
