This isn't a perfect show, but it has become a very fun series to watch.
It's a smart way to start a season: controlled and chaotic all at once.
Sleepy Hollow doesn't disappoint, returning with a rollicking premiere episode packed with humor, scares and terrific writing.
So much of this episode's strength stems from those opening scenes, that play on the notion of reality versus illusion.
After a long summer, spring and most of a winter, the spunkiest, most outlandish, best-cast drama on television is back.
Sleepy Hollow certainly came back from its (ridiculously) long hiatus with a bang and I pretty much loved every minute of it.
If every episode of Season 2 follows the path that was forged in "This Is War," then I think we're in for another fun and exciting ride through the streets and cemeteries of Sleepy Hollow.
It was a fun romp and a wonderful reintroduction to the characters we learned to love last year. Welcome back to Sleepy Hollow!
