At the age of 57, Tager shifted gears and took on his first television acting role with a small part in the crime drama "Urban Angel." The following year he made his film debut in the French Canadian drama "Requiem pour un beau sans-coeur." Tager quickly became a successful character actor, and accrued over 100 roles in television and film in less than 20 years. Over the years, Tager has built a reputation in his adopted homeland as a reliable supporting actor, and has worked on a number of notable productions, including: the horror series "Are You Afraid of the Dark?," the biopic "Rocky Marciano," the superhero blockbuster "X-Men," and the family series "Jane and the Dragon"
