      Dan Tobin found incredible success as an accomplished actor, appearing in a variety of films throughout his Hollywood career. Tobin started his acting career landing roles in such films as "Woman of the Year" (1942), "Undercurrent" (1946) with Katharine Hepburn and the Cary Grant comedy "The Bachelor and the Bobby Soxer" (1947). He also appeared in the comedy adaptation "Miss Tatlock's Millions" (1948) with John Lund, the Cary Grant comedy "Mr. Blandings Builds His Dream House" (1948) and "Sealed Verdict" (1948). His passion for acting continued to his roles in projects like "The Big Clock" (1948) with Ray Milland, the crime feature "The Velvet Touch" (1948) with Rosalind Russell and the comedy "Dream Wife" (1953) with Cary Grant. He also appeared in the Bette Davis dramatic adaptation "The Catered Affair" (1956) and "The Last Angry Man" (1959) with Paul Muni. Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in the Dean Martin comedic adaptation "Who's Got the Action?" (1962), the comedy adaptation "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying" (1967) with Robert Morse and the comedy "Herbie Rides Again" (1974) with Helen Hayes. He held additional roles in television including a part on "The Twilight Zone" (CBS, 1959-1964). He also was featured in the TV movie "Letters From Three Lovers" (ABC, 1973-74). Tobin last appeared in "Only With Married Men" (ABC, 1974-75). Tobin passed away in November 1982 at the age of 72.
