Jacques Brunius was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Brunius's earliest roles were in film, including "L' Age d'Or" (1930) with Gaston Modot, "La Bete Humaine" (1938) with Jean Gabin and the Alec Guinness comedy "The Lavender Hill Mob" (1952). His passion for acting continued to his roles in projects like the adventure "Sea Devils" (1953) with Yvonne De Carlo, "South of Algiers" (1954) and the comedy "To Paris With Love" (1955) with Alec Guinness. He also appeared in "The Cockleshell Heroes" (1956), the Louis Jourdan historical feature "Dangerous Exile" (1957) and the drama "Orders to Kill" (1958) with Eddie Albert. Brunius more recently acted in "Return From the Ashes" (1965) with Maximilian Schell. Brunius passed away in April 1967 at the age of 61.
